H. Lesser & Sons was established in the early part of the 20th Century by Harris Lesser and continues to be a family run business.  H. Lesser is internationally known for its high quality cloths and has become a favorite of bespoke tailors everywhere.

H.Lesser stocks a comprehensive collection of fine worsteds, predominantly featuring the classic English look.  Quality and precision take precedence over all other considerations at H. Lesser & Sons.

Included in the H. Lesser collections of cloths is the Lumb’s Huddersfield Golden Bale, introduced nearly 40 years ago.  With the proliferation of “Super Numbers” it has become increasingly confusing to distinguish high performance, high quality cloth.  In conjunction with the spinners Joseph Lumb & Sons, H. Lesser & Sons decided to introduce Lumbs Golden Bale to distinguish the original quality. Customers know it and keep coming back for more.
